Panthers Drop First Conference Game

The Principia Panthers opened up conference play today against the Spalding University Golden Eagles.  The Eagles were picked #1 in the East Division and have been ranked in the top 25 this season.  Chris Stamos received the nod for the series opener against the solid Eagles lineup.  Stamos kept the Eagles off the board in the first stranding runners at second and third.  Two walks and an error loaded the bases for senior Nathan Wood picked up the RBI walk as the Panthers took an early lead.
