Red Raiders Battle Mother Nature; Sweeps Mount Marty at Home

ORANGE CITY, Iowa – The pair of lightning delays prior to first pitch of tonight's Great Plain Athletic Conference (GPAC) proved to benefit the Northwestern College baseball team (17-20, 10-8 GPAC) as they swept the Mount Marty Lancers (29-10, 12-6 GPAC) who sat tied for the lead in the conference entering the day, behind a 4-for-4 and 3 RBI day at the plate for Mason Porepp in Game 1 and a stellar seven-inning pitching clinic from Brady Roberts in Game 2.
