Reddemann Dazzles in Series-Clinching Win Over Santa Clara

Eight shutout innings on the mound from true freshman right-hander Logan Reddemann led San Diego baseball (32-13, 16-4 WCC) to a 2-0 victory over West Coast Conference foe Santa Clara (21-22, 8-9 WCC) on Saturday evening at Fowler Park, clinching a series victory for USD as it earned its third shut-out win of 2024. After the Toreros used six pitchers to emerge victorious in Friday night's 13-inning thriller, Reddemann completed eight innings by himself for San Diego on Saturday evening, keeping Santa Clara off the board by striking out nine and walking just three before handing things over to Conner Thurman, who earned the save by pitching a scoreless ninth inning.
