Saints Prepare for South Sound Battle in Triple-A Ballpark

TACOMA, Wash. – The Saint Martin's baseball team (12-21, 9-11 GNAC) will have a rare opportunity this Wednesday, as they get the chance to participate in a cross-divisional rivalry at Cheney Stadium in Tacoma, Washington. Cheney is home to the Tacoma Rainiers of the Pacific Coast League, the Triple-A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners, meaning that the majority of Mariners roster had Cheney as their last stop before being called up to the bigs. In their game on Wednesday night, SMU will take on the host University of Puget Sound Loggers (16-12, 10-11 NWC) at 6 PM.
