San Diego Storms Into First Place With Decisive Win Over Zags

San Diego baseball (29-12, 13-4 WCC) on Saturday evening turned in yet another stirring offensive performance to secure an authoritative series victory over Gonzaga (17-22, 12-5 WCC), dominating the Bulldogs by a 14-2 margin at Fowler Park behind a nine-run fifth inning at the plate and a strong start on the mound from true freshman righty Logan Reddemann. The Toreros struck for four runs in the second inning before exploding with three RBI doubles, a pair of RBI singles, and a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the fifth.
