Season in Review: Baseball 2012

Heading into the 2012 season, the Messiah baseball team was riding high off a 25-19 record in 2011 and their fourth Conference Championship in the last nine years. Needless to say, Messiah had high hopes heading into the 2012 season. However, those hopes were diminished after a 3-8 start that turned into a 6-19 overall record more than halfway through the season. A win over No. 4 Salisbury kicked off a 10-4 stretch over Messiah's final 14 games in the regular season. The streak gave Messiah the last spot in the MAC Commonwealth Tournament. Three-straight wins in the Tournament gave the Falcons their second-straight Conference Championship, an amazing turnaround from less than a month earlier.
