Senior Day Spoiled as Baseball Drops Two Ninth Inning Leads to North Park

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – The Illinois Wesleyan University baseball team took on North Park University in a key College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin doubleheader, Saturday, May 7 at Horenberger Field in Bloomington, Ill. The Green and White fell in a nail biter in game one with a final score of 7-6 in a game that ended in the 11th inning. IWU had NPU down to their final out in the night cap, but the Vikings prevailed to capture the 4-3 win. The Titans' record now sits at 16-20 (7-10 CCIW), while North Park's record improved to 14-22 (7-10 CCIW).
