Senior Spotlight: Joe Cordero

Joe Cordero put himself on a track to play baseball at Maritime from the time he was five years old hitting tennis balls in the driveway for hours with his father. The Franklin Square, NY native is set to become the third generation of his family to graduate from Maritime after making the easy decision to join the Privateers in 2016. In addition to majoring in International Transportation and Trade, Cordero played baseball all four years and head coach Charlie Barbieri called the infielder, "one of the most selfless players he has ever coached."
