Softball Takes Pair To Open Buccaneer Classic

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. – Grace French threw a three-hit shutout in a 2-0 victory over Akron to start the day and Taise Thompson went 2-for-3 with a run scored and RBI in addition to picking up a save to highlight a 4-3 win over tournament-host East Tennessee State as Bradley Softball went 2-0 on the first day of the Buccaneer Classic.
