Sommerfeld Named CCIW Hitter of the Week

NAPERVILLE, Ill. – After leading the North Park baseball team to a perfect 4-0 week thanks to superb defensive play and timely hitting, Nathan Sommerfeld was named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Hitter of the Week on Monday afternoon. This is the third Viking to earn the league's Hitter of the Week honor, as junior second baseman Justin Swanson secured the accolade on April 3 and March 20.
