Stout sweeps Platteville on first day of conference opener

UW-Stout used big innings in both games and had solid relief pitching to record a sweep in the team's conference opening doubleheader against UW-Platteville Monday at Woodside Sports Complex. The Blue Devils won the first game 7-5 using a four-run third inning to hold off the Pioneers and a popped out six runs in the eighth inning of the second game for a 13-5 win.
