Stout's Joel Thimsen slugs way to WIAC baseball weekly honors

UW-Stout third baseman Joel Thimsen drove in 13 runs over eight games last week and was named the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) baseball position player of the week. Thimsen hit .438 over four wins over UW-Platteville, March 28-29, and UW-Eau Claire, April 2-3. Thimsen was 14 of 32 with 15 runs scored, hitting three doubles, and two home runs for 13 RBI.
