Tatrow's homers twice in rubber match loss at CBU

Grayson Tatrow hit a pair of home runs, Miller Ladusau hit a two-run shot, but it was not enough as the ACU baseball team dropped the rubber match at California Baptist on Sunday, 10-5. It was all Lancers (23-21, 12-9 WAC) most of the day, despite the Wildcats (26-16, 11-10 WAC) jumping out to a 1-0 lead in the top of the first. CBU built up as much as a 10-1 lead, and despite scoring the final four runs of the game including three in the ninth, it was not enough to capture the series. California Baptist jumps in front of ACU in the WAC standings and holds the tie-breaker down the road over ACU. The Wildcats will now return to Abilene for a Tuesday night date with Baylor coming up.
