TBT: Rodriguez Making Waves in Dodgers Org.

Bakersfield, Calif. – The first game in CSU Bakersfield baseball history took place on Feb. 20, 2009 and catcher Jeremy Rodriguez starred for the home team. In CSUB's 8-7 loss to visiting Saint Louis University, Rodriguez certainly did his part finishing 3-for-5 with a pair of RBI for the Roadrunners. For Rodriguez, it was just the beginning. The Thousand Oaks, Calif., native would go on to hit .332 over the course of his 152-game, CSUB career, cementing his legacy as one of the most productive hitters in program history before he was eventually drafted in the 16th-round of the 2011 MLB Draft by the San Diego Padres.
