T&F Produces 5 Individual E8 Titles And 4 Program Records at Championship Meet

PITTSFORD, NY — 30 qualifiers from the track & field teams traveled to St. John Fisher University on Friday and Saturday to compete in the Empire 8 Outdoor Track & Field Championships. Finally getting relatively clear and warm weather helped to produce a multitude of personal best performances, season bests, and individual titles. In the end, the men finished 4th place, scoring the most points they ever had at these championships (49), without a couple of their top performers. They edged Alfred and Russell Sage by just 3 points. The women score 65 points, only 5 less than last year, and finished 5th, just 7 points behind Alfred.
