Thibodeaux picks up 11 to close early signing period

THIBODAUX, La. — With the early national signing period wrapping up, Nicholls State University head baseball coach Seth Thibodeaux managed to close the book on 11 new additions to the Colonels' clubhouse, with seven student-athletes joining right out of high school and another four transferring over from junior college, all set to arrive on campus next fall and suit up for the the Red & Gray come spring 2022. In his first full offseason as the Nicholls recruiting coordinator, assistant coach Zach Butler enlisted an array of incoming prospects, inking five out of Louisiana — including two local standouts — two Floridians, another pair out of Ohio, and one from each Texas and Missouri.
