Three NCCU Baseball Student-Athletes Earn Black College Nines Elite Team Recognition

DURHAM, N.C. – Although the season was cut short, three North Carolina Central University student-athletes shined during the campaign as both Luis DeLeon (Providence, R.I.) and Vinny Bailey (Raleigh, N.C.) were named to the Large School Division Elite Team First Team, and Colin Smith (High Point, N.C.) was listed to the Second Team by Black College Nines, the organization announced on Thursday, March 26.
