Tritons Set to Compete at WIRA Championships

Following a tremendous outing at the UC San Diego Invitational last weekend, the UC San Diego women's rowing team is back to work this Saturday and Sunday to compete at the 2024 Western Intecollegiate Rowing Association Championships in Northern California. 
 
In their most recent competition, UC San Diego reached the podium 12 times last weekend in Chula Vista as they earned seven first place finishes, four second places and a third place finish in their lone home race of the season. Leading the way for the Tritons was the Varsity 8- crew who posted a team-best time of 6:38.72 while earning a trio of first place finishes.
