Tritons Third in Big West Preseason Poll

The UC San Diego women's water polo team has been picked to finish third in the 2022 Big West Conference standings as the organization released its annual preseason coaches' poll Friday.

The Tritons totaled 23 points to garner their third-place ranking. UC Irvine topped the poll with 35 points, followed closely by Hawai'i with 32 points. After the Tritons came Long Beach State and UC Davis, tied with 19 points, UC Santa Barbara with 12 points and CSUN with seven.
