UWL Wins Opener at UW-Stevens Point; Nightcap Suspended

Stevens Point, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse baseball team earned a 12-6 win at 20th-ranked UW-Stevens Point Saturday afternoon in the first game of a doubleheader at ZImmermann Field. The second game was tied, 14-14, after nine innings and suspended due to darkness. The game will resume Sunday, April 10 at 11 a.m. The teams will then play its originally scheduled doubleheader at the conclusion of the suspended game.
