Valor Baseball Swept on the Road Against MNU on Friday

Valor Baseball concluded their four game road series with the MidAmerica Nazarene Pioneers on Friday, looking to attempt to take a split with the Heart South rival. Evangel played a competitive game one against the Pioneers, forcing extra innings after MNU took an early lead. The Valor ultimately fell short in game one, 5-4, in eight innings of play. In game two, Evangel was ambushed early by the Pioneers offense, falling behind 4-0 at the end of the first inning, and took the loss, 14-5, in the final game of the series.
