Walks bite Memphis in 16-4 loss to Ole Miss

OXFORD, Miss. – Though the Memphis Tigers took advantage of three early errors by No. 4 Ole Miss, the Tigers couldn't hold early 2-0 and 3-1 leads in a 16-4 loss to the Rebels. Memphis pitching issued nine walks over the first four innings and saw six of those nine walks eventually score. Overall, Memphis pitching issued a season-high 14 walks in the loss. The Tigers had three hits through two innings but just one more the rest of the night.
