Washburn baseball falls in home opener to No. 5 Missouri Southern

TOPEKA, Kan. — The Washburn baseball squad held the No. 5-ranked Missouri Southern Lions without a hit until the seventh inning, but the Ichabod offense came alive a little too late as they fell in their home opener, 3-1. Missouri Southern remains unbeaten at 10-0 (4-0 MIAA) while the Ichabods check in at 2-6 (2-2 MIAA) on the young season.
