Wheaton baseball team's final Spring Break game canceled due to rain

Tucson, Ariz. — The Thunder baseball team's Spring Break schedule in the Southwest came to a premature end as this morning's game against Gustavus Adolphus College has been called off due to unplayable field conditions. While the rain that forced Friday's doubleheader to be scrapped mostly subsided in the Tucson area, the complex where this week's games took place was hit with more showers yesterday afternoon, leaving the fields unusable in time for this morning's contest. Wheaton leaves Arizona with a 2-2 record for the week, including an 11-9 victory over today's scheduled opponents in their last game on Tuesday.
