Wieck takes mound for first time in 2020 for Cubs

CHICAGO – Brad Wieck stands as the only Oklahoma City University alum pitching professionally this year as the Major League Baseball season got under way recently.
Wieck made his 2020 debut by working the sixth inning for the Chicago Cubs against the Milwaukee Brewers on Saturday at Wrigley Field. Wieck, 28, suffered a hamstring strain which put him on the disabled list.
