Wofford Baseball Hosts The Citadel to Open SoCon Play

Wofford returns home after four-straight road games to host The Citadel and open Southern Conference action. The Terriers are 13-5 on the season after falling in midweek play at Georgia 18-6 in eight innings. The Bulldogs come to Spartanburg with an almost identical record at 14-5, fresh off a sweep at home of UMass and riding an overall five-game winning streak. Wofford owns the all-time series with The Citadel, leading 71-53 dating back to 1899. The Terriers swept the Bulldogs in Charleston last season and currently tout an overall 11-game win streak over The Citadel dating back to 2021. Wofford has also won 12 in a row at home over The Citadel, last losing to the Bulldogs at Russell C. King Field on March 17, 2013.
