WOU's Chalmers named NCWBA All-West Region First Team, Cortese Second Team, Maibens and Bond Honorable Mention

MONMOUTH, Ore. — Western Oregon starting pitcher Dylan Chalmers was named to the National College Baseball Writers Association All-West Region First Team, designated hitter AJ Cortese was named to the second team while shortstop Derek Maiben, center fielder Jacob Maiben and starting pitcher Bryce Bond were named honorable mention when the awards were released Wednesday.
