WVSU redeems Saturday stumble with a pair of wins on Sunday

ATHENS, W.Va. – West Virginia State baseball (23-15, 15-7 MEC) split the weekend series at Concord (24-14, 14-8 MEC) after winning both games of the doubleheader on Sunday. The Yellow Jackets snapped Concord's 14-game win streak with a 6-5 win after nine innings in the first game. They came back to win the second game by a final score of 9-4 and overtook the Mountain Lions in the MEC standings by doing so.
