[Baseball] Barons Drop Series to Faulkner University

In game one, Barons scored early but Faulkner was able to have 2 breakthrough innings to seal the win for the Eagles.  Trey Jones (JR/Baxley) threw a scoreless first three innings and would be taken out in the fourth, Tyrus Cook would finish the inning and Austin Visocchi would come in during the fifth to hold the Eagles to 4 hits and no runs.  Scoring 5 runs for the Barons would come from efforts of Taz Worrell (JR/Lake Butler) going 3 for 5, Ben Harris going 3 for 4 with 2 RBIs, Zach Wilson would go 2 for 3 with 1 RBI, and Jordan Rahn (FR/Rincon) would go 1 for 3 with 2 RBIs.  Game two did not go as smoothly, as the Barons were only able to put up runs in the bottom of the seventh with a collective 4 hits.  These hits would come from Jordan Rahn, Aaron Ushery (SR/Riverdale), Jackson Smith (SO/Bartow), and a homerun from Zach Wilson; the other RBI would come from Jackson Smith.  Roberto Urena (SO/Loganville) would start on the mound, followed by Jacob Johnson (JR/Griffin), Mackenzie Dowell, and Carson Mason with a combined 8 hits and 7 strikeouts. Game three the Barons scored early but the Eagles were able to score more often, earning them the win.  Taz Worrell would go 2 for 5 and Eduardo Castillo would go 3 for 4 with 2 RBIs and a homerun.  As well as hits from Jackson Smith, Aaron Ushery, Austin Mealor (FR/Guyton), and a 2-runhomerun from Ben Harris.  Ben Harris would pitch the first 7 innings allowing only 7 hits and 9 strikeouts and Adrian Comas (SR/Tampa) would come in for relief allowing 4 hits with 3 strikeouts.  written by: Sadie Rusteika
