[Baseball] Barons Lose Close Game to Reinhardt University

Waleska, GA — In this single game matchup, the Barons were able to score early but could not hold their lead in the last two innings as Reinhardt scored 3 in the bottom of the ninth to win 8-7.  Roberto Urena (SO/Loganville) started on the mound and would go two innings and would be replaced by Tyrus Cook (FR/Lake Butler, FL) who would go 5 innings only giving up 5 hits and 4 strikeouts.  Ben Harris would finish the game and give up 1 earned run and 2 strikeouts.  The Barons were strong at the plate as homeruns were hit by Malik Germany (FR/Grovetown) (1 RBI), Zach Wilson (2 RBI), and Austin Mealor (3 RBI). Matt Collins would go 3 for 4 with 2 doubles and Zach Wilson would finish the game going 2 for 4.  The Barons continue play on March 5th at Edward Waters College.  written by: Sadie Rusteika
