[Baseball] Barons Split Series with Savannah State

Savannah, GA – The Barons traveled to Savannah to play 2 games against Savannah State on Tuesday night.  Game 1: The Barons win 4-2. 1st inning was scoreless. In the 2nd inning the Barons Brought in 2 runs making the score 2-0. The 3rd inning was scoreless. In the 4th inning savannah state Scored 2 points bringing the score to 2-2. Both the 5th and 6th innings were scoreless. In the 7th inning the Barons Scored 2 more runs bringing the score to 4-2. The points were scored by: Garrison Green, Ben Harris, Peyton Noble, and Nyles Huling. Game 2: The Barons lose 5-1: in the 1st inning savannah state scored 1 run making the score 1-0. The 2nd inning was scoreless. In the 3rd inning savannah state got 2 more runs bringing the score to 3-0. Savannah state brought in another point in the 4th inning making the score 4-0. The 5th inning was scoreless. In the 6th inning the Both teams brought in a run making the score 5-1. The 7th inning was scoreless making the final score 5-1. Seth Graham brought in the run for the Barons.  The Barons Baseball team will play again on Friday February 7th, Where they will play 2 games at home. The first Game will be at 12pm against Montreat College and the second game will be at 6pm against Thomas University. Come out and support the Barons Baseball team!written by: Rhett Harris
