[Baseball] Baseball Wins Series Opener Versus (RV) OLLU

Texarkana, TX – The Eagles soared through their series opener versus (RV) Our Lady of The Lake University with a 6-2 victory Friday afternoon.  TAMUT, who is on a 5-game win streak, improve to 12-9 overall and 5-2 in the RRAC.  The Saints fall to 7-13, 4-4.  The two teams will meet tomorrow for a doubleheader with first pitch set for 1PM in Texarkana.  Starter Collin Fenili (3-1) put in a solid 7 innings of work allowing two runs on six hits issuing five free passes while striking out six.  Gage Mason and Marcos Moreno pitched the 8th and 9th innings, each striking out two.  Shraedon Naeole-Starkey continued to swing a hot stick going 3 for 4, scoring one run with a stolen base.  Brandon Riley was the only other player to record multiple hits with a 2 for 4 performance, also scoring one run while swiping second.  Hunter Reid, Jack Skinner and season RBI leader Giancarlo Mijares each contributed a hit and an RBI.   TAMUT had 9 hits in the contest.  Watch Live: https://portal.stretchinternet.com/tamut/  For more on Eagle Baseball and all things Eagle Athletics, log on to tamutathletics.com or follow us on social media outlets @TAMUT_Athletics.  Go Eagles!!
