[Baseball] Bulldogs Lose Series to Eagles

The Jarvis Christian College Bulldogs played host to Texas A&M Texarkana over the weekend and lost the best of a 3 game series 2-1.  Texas A&M would take game 1 with a score of 5-2 on Friday evening.  Jarvis would answer back and win game 2 on Saturday morning by a score of 7-6 with a strong performance by Armond Barrios and Pedro Otero.  Barrios would finish the series with a .329 batting average and Otero finished with a .347 batting average.  Both players would contribute with 4 RBI's in total over the weekend.  Texas A&M would go on and win game 3 by a score of 8-3 and move ahead of Jarvis in the conference standings.The Bulldogs are set to travel to the University of Southwest over the coming weekend for a 3 game series.  Jarvis Christian holds the lead in the all time series vs Southwest with 23 wins and 7 losses.  Game 1 is set for 2 pm on Friday March 13 in Hobbs, NM.
