[Baseball] Declan Smyth named CCAC Player of the Week

CHICAGO – Junior infielder Declan Smyth (Evergreen Park, Ill./North Central /Evergreen Park) was named the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Player of the week for the Saint Xavier University baseball team (32-10, 15-5 CCAC) when the awards were announced by the league office Tuesday morning. It's the second consecutive week that SXU has had a player win the award. Smyth's cousin, senior infielder Jimmy Smyth (Oak Forest, Ill./Tennessee Wesleyan/South Suburban/Robert Morris/Oak Forest) earned the award last week.
