Baseball Drops Midweek Meeting at Winthrop

The Wofford baseball team played Winthrop close early Tuesday evening at Winthrop Ballpark, but two five-run frames by the Eagles provided enough separation for Winthrop to secure a 16-6 win in eight innings. Wofford falls to 16-6 with the result with Winthrop improving to 11-12.
