[Baseball] Eagles Fall To Reddies 9-1

Arkadelphia, AR – The Eagles had a rough 1st inning Wednesday night against Henderson State University.  With two outs in the first frame, HSU's Joe Myers tripled down the right field line.  The next hitter would then double down the right field line to put the Reddiesup 1-0.  An ensuing single would plate another run and make the score 2 -0.  On the next play, a Reddie player struck out swinging but reached on an error by the Eagles Catcher and the runner on 3rd  would score to make it a 3-0 ballgame. HSU would plate two more runs in the 4th inning on two hits and two TAMUT errors.  The Eagles would score their only run in the 6th inning.  Blake Seagraves (SR/Wylie, TX) came on to pinch hit for Joe Pearlman.  Seagraves reached on a walk.  Issac D'Agostino would have a pinch hit single that scored Seagraves to put TAMUT on the board 5-1. The Reddies would score 4 more runs in the 7th to extend their lead 9-1.  With the loss, TAMUT drops to 9-4 on the season.  The Eagles will be back in action on Friday for a DH against Indiana University – South Bend, with first pitch at 12 PM.   eam123456789 RHETexas A&M – Texarkana000001000 127Henderson State30020040X 9101
