[Baseball] GPAC Baseball Tournament Information

Doane University will be the site for one of the two GPAC Tournament Baseball brackets beginning on Thursday, May 6, at 12 PM. TOURNAMENT INFORMATION The tournament will open up with the two teams who were unable to play a complete conference schedule as the fourth game of their series was cancelled. Mount Marty, the 3-seed, will take on Jamestown, the 6-seed, at 12:00 PM to open the three-day event. The Lancers swept a tripleheader against the Jimmies during the conference season but due to weather, were unable to play their final game of the series.Doane, the 2-seed, will host Northwestern at 3:00 PM on Thursday. The Tigers swept the Red Raiders in a two-game series, taking the second game in a walkoff in 11 innings as the teams opened the conference season for 2021.The winners of the two games will play at 9:00 AM on Friday with the losing teams facing off at 12:00 PM. The tournament is double elimination.
