[Baseball] Jordan Izzo Named RRAC Pitcher Of The Week
WACO, Texas – Jordan Izzo of Texas A&M University-Texarkana was named RRAC Pitcher of the Week for April 11-17. This is the 12th set of weekly honors for the 2022 baseball season.Izzo opened the Eagles' series with Louisiana Christian University by engineering a three-hit, complete game shutout. The senior righthander from Horatio, Ark., struck out nine hitters and walked three over seven innings of work. Izzo is 2-1 with a 1.97 ERA on the season. His win was the 200th in TAMUT program history and helped the Eagles take 2-of-3 games from LCU. TAMUT climbed to 17-10 in conference play and 27-18 overall.
