[Baseball] Nichols Earns GPAC Weekly Honor

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) has announced that Trey Nichols of Midland University is the GPAC Baseball Player-of-the-Week for games played April 16-25, 2021.Nichols, a sophomore from Bowling Green, Missouri, had a solid weekend at the plate against Northwestern. On Friday, he went 3-for-4 with a home run, two doubles, two runs scored, and five runs batted in as Midland won game two, 12-2. On Saturday, he had plate appearances in both games and went a combined 4-for-8 with a home run, two doubles, two runs scored, and an RBI.
