[Baseball] SXU Baseball Drops Game One, 7-3; Game Two Suspended

CHICAGO – The Saint Xavier University baseball team (12-16/4-3 CCAC) lost game one of a doubleheader, 7-3, to St. Ambrose University (Iowa) in Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) play Sunday afternoon at Richard R. Ferrell Memorial Field in Chicago, Ill. The second game was suspended in the bottom of the 5th with the Fighting Bees leading 7-3 with one out and a runner on first base before the game was halted due to lightning and heavy rain. Game two will resume at a later date.
