HAWKS Score and Soar Their Way to the Playoffs

La Mirada, Calif. — If you asked just about anyone outside the HNU Baseball circle this weekend was a great opportunity, but no matter what happened this season would be remembered fondly. Expectations considering all circumstances were far-ranging, and after two tough losses on Friday probably not very high. But if you asked that same question to any member of the 2023 Dirty Birds the goal was simple; get to season #3. As the HAWKS have continued to write the final chapter of their HNU Baseball Program story they haven't done it the easy way, they haven't done it the emotionally calming way, but they've done it their way and they aren't done yet. After hitting what seemed more like an impossible BINGO board of outcomes than just another double header sweep on the final day of PacWest Conference play on Saturday the HAWKS stamped their ticket to Fresno and a spot in the inaugural PacWest Conference Post Season Tournament, the first post season appearance in program history.
