Male Rookie of the Year nominees

FREDONIA, N.Y. — The Fredonia State Male Athlete of the Year Award will be presented Tuesday, May 7. The four nominees are:

*David Adams, Baseball — Adams proved an effective reliever for the Blue Devils, appearing in eight games, collecting two saves, posting a 6.00 ERA and striking out 16 batters in 15 innings pitched. He was key in the Oneonta series, appearing in both games of the Sunday Sweep.
Lee Hartke, Soccer — Was one of the Devils' top defensive midfielders as a freshman. He scored twice and had a pair of assists, and was tied for sixth on the team in points. He was the leader in in goals, assists, shots, games, and starts for all freshmen.
*Jordan Lockett, Track — Was the 2nd fastest Freshman in the SUNYAC in both the 60m and 200m in Indoor Track. He ran the 1st leg in the record-breaking 4x200m relay at Regionals and was All Region in that event. In the outdoor season (which is still in progress — the SUNYAC Meet will be held on Friday and Saturday), Lockett is the 2nd fastest freshman in the conference in the 100m dash, and the fastest freshman in the 200m outdoor. He is also part of the 4x100m outdoor relay team.
Antoine St. Onge, Hockey — Played in all 25 games as a freshman, scoring a team-leading eight goals and was fourth on the team with five assists. His 13 points ranked third on the Devils.
