Toreros Drop Midweek Matchup to Matadors

Four runs from Cal State Northridge (24-11, 10-5 Big West) in the top of the eighth inning on Tuesday night dealt San Diego baseball (18-20-1, 11-7 WCC) a 7-4 defeat at Fowler Park as it completed its second-to-last midweek non-conference matchup of 2023. The Matadors struck for a pair of runs in the top of the first inning on a bases-loaded hit by pitch and walk.
