[Baseball] Bulldogs Fall In Game One

Jarvis Christain College dropped game one of the NAIA Baseball Opening Round to Olivet Nazarene University with a score of 3-9.  Tyler Holt would get the start and the loss for the Bulldogs giving up 4 early runs to the Tigers.  Jarvis would give up 3 errors on the day which resulted in a slow start to the tournament.  Carlos Reyes went 2 for 5 at the plate with 2 RBIs and 1 double, while Joshua Romero had 2 hits on 4 at bats at the plate.  Ismael De Los Santos would add the Bulldogs last RBI in a late 8th inning rally that would ultimatly fall short.  The Bulldogs finished the game with 3 runs, 9 hits, and 3 errors in the 9 inning game.Jarvis will look to bounce back out of the losers bracket tomorrow when they take on Hope International University (CA) in the NAIA Baseball Opening Round (Montgomery Bracket).  First pitch is set for 11am tomorrow morning.
